Inspired by the roast meat joints of Hong Kong, Cantonese kitchen Siu Siu will join our global line up at Arcade Tottenham Court Road from 8 September.
Expect the likes of deep-filled prawn brioche toast and a sweet chilli dipping sauce, and a Char Siu Sandwich loaded with grilled char siu iberico pork, mustard, white onion and coriander.
Sorrowful Rice, Siu Siu's star dish, is born from Hong Kong’s iconic movie ‘The God Of Cookery’, and is not to be missed: Jasmine rice topped with sticky char siu pork belly, pickled mustard greens and a fried egg. The popularity of the movie propelled restaurants to create their own versions of the dish. At Siu Siu, the pork belly is marinated in a mix of red bean paste, honey, two types of Chinese wine and traditional spices, roasted hot and fast in strips so that it caramelises and is finished over charcoal.Â
We are offering one lucky guest the opportunity to win two return flights to Hong Kong to explore the birthplace of Sorrowful Rice first hand.
To enter the competition simply make a reservation between the 8-10 September, or the 15-17 September at Tottenham Court Road.
Remember to enter all contact information when making your booking, and opt-in to marketing messaging.Â
Our full a la carte menu will also be available alongside Siu Siu's menu of Cantonese comfort food.
Competition only applicable to bookings at Tottenham Court Road.
